This position is primarily remote, allowing our team members the flexibility to conduct sessions from their preferred locations. Our outpatient office serves as an additional resource for team meetings, training, and occasional client appointments, fostering a supportive and connected workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via video conferencing tools, creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to express their concerns.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each client’s unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans to foster their healing journey.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, to effectively support client goals.

• Document sessions accurately in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines while ensuring confidentiality and appropriate record-keeping.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and staff to provide holistic and integrated care, participating in case conferences when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Haven of Healing, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families facing various challenges such as relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Your role will be focused on fostering a non-judgmental and accepting space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, working towards meaningful change and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective therapy.

• A commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development, including the pursuit of additional certifications as needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and with various presenting issues.

• Familiarity with teletherapy practices and proficiency in using telehealth platforms for therapy sessions.

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting or similar therapeutic environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
