Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule: Nights (3x12 typical; guaranteed 36 hours/week for 3x12s) Weekend requirement: Every 3rd weekend

Assignment Details: Expected patient volume: ~127 visits/day ER beds: 38

Requirements: Minimum 2 years RN experience required Travel experience required ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIH (NIHSS), PALS certifications required Pending license accepted Local candidates not accepted within 75-mile radius Key clinical skills: Emergency triage, airway management, cardiac monitoring, IV starts/maintenance, basic trauma procedures, behavioral/psychiatric management, 12-lead ECG acquisition

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide emergency triage and management for patients of all ages Conduct airway management and care for ventilated patients Perform cardiac monitoring and recognize dysrhythmias Administer IV medications and blood products, including IV vasopressors Participate in basic trauma procedures, including splinting and central line familiarity Manage violent behavior and psychiatric holds as necessary

Compliance / Notes: Compliance deadline: 3pm CST on the Monday before initial start date Maximum 7 days of RTO (requires manager approval) No RTO allowed first week of assignment Mandatory pre-start modules required; must be completed to avoid delays Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing
