Overview Small family owned real estate investment company needs a Real Estate Property Accountant. Located in the Memorial Area, hours can be flexible and dress is casual. Be the go-to for all accounting and property management needs. Accounting Responsibilities Record accounts payable/receivable Prepare checks, payments, and bank deposits Reconcile and balance all cash accounts monthly Journal entries and general ledger maintenance Quarterly financial reporting Annual triple net rent reconciliation and budgets Process and distribute year-end 1099s Prepare year-end reports for accountant including recording the proper classification of income and expenses and assets, liabilities, and equity accounts for our corporations and partnerships Property Management Responsibilities Manage building maintenance and equipment repair schedule for each property using our Rent Manager (property management) software program Communication and interaction with tenants and vendors Manage Excel spreadsheets for property taxes and insurance policies Meet with contractors, inspectors, and tenants at local properties #J-18808-Ljbffr Houston City Personnel
