Job Description

General Summary:

Sign-On Bonus $7,500

Shift: 36 hours per week, Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating every other weekend and observed holiday

• **Lead with Compassion**: Take charge of coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care that makes hearts (literally!) feel better. You'll be the go-to leader ensuring every patient gets the care they deserve.
• **Master the Nursing Process**: Put your clinical expertise to work! You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care like a pro—creating effective nursing care plans that actually work.
• **Communicate Like a Champion**: Keep the whole healthcare team in the loop by sharing pertinent patient and family information. Clear communication = better outcomes, and you'll be the communication MVP.
• **Delegate and Supervise with Confidence**: Manage care delivery by delegating tasks, supervising team members, and documenting everything with precision. You've got this!
• **Problem-Solve and Innovate**: When patient goals hit a bump in the road, you'll jump in to find creative solutions and make sure they're implemented smoothly. Every challenge is an opportunity to shine.
• **Teach and Empower**: Help patients and families understand their care journey. Your teaching and guidance will set them up for success.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
