Compliance Director/ CCO

Phoenix Pro Connect is collaborating with a large real estate company in Miami to fill the role of Compliance Director. In this position, you will oversee all compliance functions within the organization, ensuring that operations adhere to legal and regulatory standards, including those applicable to investment advisers registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will identify compliance vulnerabilities, implement corrective actions, and provide compliance-related training to employees. Your responsibilities will also include conducting periodic compliance reviews and managing required record-keeping processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure organizational compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.
• Collaborate with the General Counsel to establish compliance testing and auditing procedures.
• Identify compliance vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures.
• Investigate allegations of illegal, improper, or unethical conduct, addressing any violations accordingly.
• Represent the company during inspections by external authorities or governing bodies.
• Oversee the development and delivery of compliance-related training sessions.

Experience and Education:

• Align departmental strategy and direction with the organization's overall goals.
• Develop impactful policies, practices, and procedures.
• Hold a master's degree with 15 or more years of experience in a related field.
