ELIGIBILITY: Open to residents of Oklahoma Responsibilities: Oversight and development of innovative special education services to meet diverse student needs and ensure quality of education and compliance Contribute to the leadership team working as an active member oftheAdministrativeStaff;assist in the developmentand trainingof the total school philosophy of specialeducation Ensure maintenance ofallspecial education studentrecords andfilesin accordance with timelines and guidelines as established by state law and the Department of Education best practices Suggest/developnewpolicies,procedures or changes essential to special educationprogramsand compliance Hold a reduced caseload of students Maintain compliance with paperwork and service time for the assigned caseload Maintain confidentiality concerning all student information and any professionalmatters Work with the teaching staff to improve standardized and proficiency testingresults Assist in hiring and oversee the training of all Special Educationstaff Act as point of contact with all agencies providing related services to students, manage contracts and agreements related to services in collaboration with supervisor.
