Laboratory Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM
Pay Rate : $18.90-$21.00/hr based on experience
Location : Florence, KY
Laboratory Technician Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• Previous laboratory or microbiology experience preferred.
  
• Food manufacturing or regulated-facility experience preferred.
  
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.
  
• Basic computer and math skills.
  
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in a controlled testing environment.
  

• Perform microbiological testing on ingredients, products, and samples.
  
• Follow established testing procedures and quality standards.
  
• Collect and document samples and test results.
  
• Assist with laboratory swabbing and documentation.
  
• Prepare laboratory materials and supplies.
  
• Maintain clean and organized testing areas.
  
• Enter test results and sample information into spreadsheets.
  
• Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment.
  
• Assist with quality and pre-operational verification activities.
  
• Prepare samples for shipment when needed.
  
• Report test results and concerns to appropriate personnel.
  
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
