Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Part-time Line Cook to prepare and cook unique dishes that satisfy and excite our guests & visitors. If you want to learn how to prepare the best Mash & Bangers dish in Syracuse, then this is the kitchen you want to be in!

Here is what you will be doing each day as a Line Cook:

* Prepare food to order items for customers/guests in a timely and consistent manner. May perform cooking in all areas such as prep, pantry or line. Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality standards, presentation

standards and food preparation checklist. Date all food containers and rotate Anticipate all and any menu request. Ensure food to order items for customers/guests are in a timely and

consistent manner. * Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

Our line cooks possess a self-starting personality with an even disposition and can maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. You can communicate well with guests and are willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills and/or improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something. You understand & believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day.

* Flexible availability required but specific needs will be discussed during the interview * At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, full restaurant or catering kitchen environment preferred * Starting rate: $20.60/hr, depending on experience
