Assistant General Manager

Lobby Bar is a high-energy neighborhood cocktail bar and restaurant focused on great hospitality, quality food, creative drinks, and building a place people genuinely want to come back to. We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the floor, and knows how to create memorable guest experiences while building a strong team culture.

• Lead daily front-of-house operations alongside ownership and management

• Coach, motivate, and develop staff while maintaining a positive team environment

• Drive exceptional hospitality standards and guest satisfaction

• Manage service flow, floor presence, and shift execution

• Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and ordering

• Help oversee hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational standards

• Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively

• Work closely with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication and execution

• Contribute ideas to improve systems, culture, events, and overall guest experience

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience

• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on management style

• Positive attitude, high energy, and team-first mentality

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to stay calm and organized in high-volume environments

• Passion for hospitality, food, cocktails, and creating experiences

• Strong understanding of service standards and restaurant operations

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
