Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg


Location: Santa Fe, NM


Pay: $82/hour


Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role focuses on providing quality care in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with unit standards. The successful candidate will work within the Med Surg departments, floating as needed, ensuring care that meets the needs of a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg

• Obtain and record initial assessment, establishing priorities according to patient age, symptoms and psychosocial needs
• Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention
• Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care within established time frames
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcomes
• Participate in patient health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Evaluate and modify the plan of care based on patient evaluations
• Perform Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Med Surg

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS certification required
• Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
• Clear communication skills appropriate to patient developmental age
