The Position

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensure accurate records, proper packaging, and timely delivery for the best customers from all over the world from general, business and commercial aviation. To be successful in this role, you'll need to be reliable, physically capable and comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This Position May Be For You If

• You have a high school diploma or GED.
• You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment.
• You have strong basic math and computation skills.
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
• You have strong attention to detail.
• You are organized, focused and results oriented.
• You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills.
• You have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

We Would Really Like It If (but it's not a deal breaker)

• You have familiarity with shipping software or tools

The Physical And Working Environment Requires

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift regularly and for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
• Ability to handle exposure to varying temperatures or conditions (e.g. warehouse, loading docks)

What You Can Expect From One Day To The Next

• Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing with records, such as packing sheets, invoices, correspondence or orders
• Alert manager or vendors of discrepancies and work to resolve issues
• Create shipping paperwork and labels from the shipping computer, compare to work order tracker
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping purposes
• Ensure incoming deliveries are routed to the appropriate location
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies
• Comply with all hazardous material shipping regulations
