Sourcing Analyst - Hybrid Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Sourcing Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Sourcing. This position involves leading contract negotiations, managing supplier relationships of high risk or complexity, and contributing to large-scale planning to drive cost reduction and maximize business impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships of high risk or complexity with significant impact to the business strategy
• Manage suppliers and relationships from a life-cycle perspective with a focus on reducing cost or spend, increasing customer satisfaction, and maximizing business impact
• Establish e-business, procure-to-pay, environmental, and Strategic Sourcing cost reduction strategies to continually improve category effectiveness and efficiencies
• Customize legal contract language to proactively anticipate technology, market and business issues
• Control all aspects of negotiation and set negotiation strategy
• Lead projects required to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, as well as educate and act as a resource for Contract Analysts
• Partner with business units to issue and evaluate Request For Proposals and to ensure successful implementation of agreements
• Act as a focal point for coordinating sourcing efforts across business entities

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of contract drafting/negotiation experience
• 5+ years of Sourcing, Procurement experience, or equivalent
• Strong experience in contract interpretation, drafting, and negotiation
• Financial analysis of pricing proposals
• Ability to gather business requirements and recommend a sourcing strategy
• Skill in reviewing proposed contract language, identifying risks, and recommending language or strategies to remediate those risks
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel)

Desired skills:

• Experience with contracts for Software Licenses (on-premise and vendor hosted)
• Experience with contracts for AI (Artificial Intelligence)
• Experience with negotiating pricing for renewals of software licenses
• Experience negotiating agreements on behalf of a highly regulated entity (e.g., financial services, healthcare)
• JD and/or sourcing certification

Pay range: $43.13 - $51.13 per hour
