This role is a crucial part of our practice, providing comprehensive support to our attorneys in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, a deep understanding of federal and state court procedures, and a passion for detail-oriented work.**Essential Job Functions*** Assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, and briefs.* Conducting in-depth legal research and analysis on various insurance matters.* Reviewing and summarizing medical records, depositions, and other case-related documents.* Coordinating and managing timelines for various cases, ensuring all deadlines are met.* Organizing and maintaining case files, including managing electronic databases and physical records.* Assisting with trial preparation, including the creation of exhibits, witness preparation, and coordination of logistics.* Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts as necessary.* Providing administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and drafting correspondence.**Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work successfully with multiple team members, interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.* Competent to handle a variety of activities with attention to detail and quality, with the ability to follow through and follow up, and adapt to quickly meet changing deadlines and priorities.* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.* Ability to complete multiple tasks and a high volume of work on short deadlines and follow through on assigned tasks with limited supervision.* Retain a high level of flexibility and resourceful problem solving.* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.**Educational and Experience Requirements*** High School Diploma required* Paralegal Certificate required* Prior litigation experience required**Work Environment and Physical Demands*** Ability to work extended hours when necessary.* Normal office environment; no unusual physical demands. #J-18808-Ljbffr Maynard Nexsen PC
