Compounding Pharmacist

We are seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to join a dynamic pharmacy team in a full-time temporary role with strong potential for permanent placement. This is an immediate need, and we are open to both experienced compounding pharmacists and retail pharmacists for dispensing-focused responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding operations
• Perform final verification of prescriptions
• Fill, label, and prepackage medications
• Communicate with providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills
• Counsel patients and respond to medication-related questions
• Ensure compliance with USP , , and Board of Pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow efficiency

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM
• Full-time assignment through July 2026

Experience

• 3-5 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Compounding experience strongly preferred
• Retail pharmacists welcome (may focus primarily on dispensing functions)

Education

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
• Active California Pharmacist License (required)

• Strong knowledge of compounding standards and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation

• Pay Range: $70 - $74/hour
