The Role
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Marketing Manager to join our Canada Marketing team. In this role, you will integrate the companys experience into social platforms by driving the strategic direction and focusing on data-driven insights to engage our audience. You will develop and supervise social media strategies that align with our brand values, ensuring a profound understanding of the creator ecosystem and social media dynamics. This position is key in shaping how we interact with our audience and spark cultural conversations across Canada.

The Role
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Marketing Manager to join our Canada Marketing team. In this role, you will integrate the companys experience into social platforms by driving the strategic direction and focusing on data-driven insights to engage our audience. You will develop and supervise social media strategies that align with our brand values, ensuring a profound understanding of the creator ecosystem and social media dynamics. This position is key in shaping how we interact with our audience and spark cultural conversations across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically manage and grow our social media presence, emphasizing analytical and data-driven approaches.
- Work across multiple cross-functional teams to build social strategies that support business priorities and long-term industry relationships.
- Lead social media campaigns for key Canadian productions and imported titles that matter to Canadian audiences.
- Develop campaign strategies tailored to each title, with insight-driven planning, tone-of-voice development, and bespoke content plans across platforms.
- Supervise content calendars, provide creative direction, and grant final approval in collaboration with external partners.
- Work with talent and reps to produce high-impact social campaigns to ignite fandom, including overseeing content shoots when applicable
- Innovate in content creation, leveraging insights to foster fan communities and enhance brand loyalty.
- Use internal and external social analytics and other internal data to inform strategy, iterate on creative, and constantly learn to improve and optimize future campaigns.
- Drive social media campaigns that spark conversations and connect with the cultural zeitgeist.
Who Were Looking For:
- 8+ years of experience in a social or digital marketing role, preferably in the entertainment, sports, or gaming industries.
- Expertise in managing social media channels and building online communities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and skilled in pitching/presenting.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Ability to work collaboratively, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Adept at creating engaging social content and campaigns that resonate with audiences.
- Strong analytical skills to apply data-centric approaches to content testing and optimization.
