Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager - Data Center Operations (Onsite)

We are a group of dynamic, innovative professionals committed to providing safe, compliant, and high-performing work environments across Oracle's global footprint.We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager who will work onsite in one of the following locations: Abilene, TX, Santa Teresa, NM, Saline, MI, or Port Washington, WI to lead EHS execution across hyperscale data center operations. This role will directly manage a team of EHS Specialists and partner closely with Data Center Operations, Construction, and Facilities teams to ensure consistent application of EHS standards and regulatory compliance.This position is responsible for translating global EHS programs into effective site-level execution, driving accountability, coaching field teams, and ensuring operational risks are proactively identified and mitigated. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep technical EHS knowledge, and a proven ability to operate in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.Key focus areas include electrical safety (LOTO, Arc Flash), contractor safety, high-risk work controls, material handling, indoor environmental quality, and heat stress management in large-scale data center environments.ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & ManagementLead, coach, and develop a team of EHS Specialists supporting hyperscale data centersEstablish clear performance expectations, goals, and accountability measuresConduct regular field engagement, site visits, and performance reviewsBuild a strong safety culture through leadership presence and team developmentEHS Program ExecutionEnsure consistent implementation of EHS programs, policies, and procedures across assigned data centersPartner with global and regional teams to deploy standardized EHS programsTranslate corporate standards into practical, site-level executionOperational Support & Risk ManagementPartner with Data Center Operations, Construction, and Facilities teams to: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risksSupport high-risk activities (LOTO, energized work, confined space, working at heights, etc.)Ensure safe contractor management practicesCompliance & AuditingEnsure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirementsLead and support site audits, inspections, and compliance assessmentsDrive closure of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesPerformance Monitoring & Continuous ImprovementTrack and analyze EHS performance metrics (KPIs) across sitesIdentify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesDrive standardization and operational excellence across the regionTraining & Capability BuildingEnsure EHS Specialists and site teams are properly trained and qualifiedSupport delivery of EHS training programs aligned with operational risksPromote knowledge sharing and best practices across sitesStakeholder EngagementAct as the primary EHS partner for data center leadership within the regionCollaborate cross-functionally to align safety objectives with business prioritiesCommunicate EHS performance, risks, and initiatives to senior leadershipPreferred Qualifications:10+ years of EHS experience, including leadership/people management experienceExperience managing EHS programs in hyperscale data centers, mission-critical, or industrial environmentsStrong working knowledge of: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)Arc Flash / Electrical SafetyContractor Safety ManagementHigh-risk work controlsExperience leading field-based EHS teams across multiple sitesStrong understanding of regulatory frameworks (OSHA, NFPA, ISO)Experience with EHS management systems, auditing, and performance metricsProven ability to influence operational leaders and drive culture changeBA/BS in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related fieldASP, CSP, CIH or similar certifications preferredSkills:EHS Team Leadership & DevelopmentMulti-site EHS Operations ManagementData Center Safety ProgramsRegulatory Compliance (OSHA, NFPA, ISO)Risk Assessment & MitigationContractor Safety ManagementIncident Investigation & Root Cause AnalysisEHS Auditing & Performance MetricsCross-functional CollaborationIf this sounds like you, please apply!
