Radiology / Mammography TechnologistLocation: Dallas, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Setting: Outpatient / Preventive Medicine Schedule:Monday-Friday7:30 AM-3:30 PMNo nightsNo weekendsNo on-call responsibilitiesConsistent weekday scheduleSummaryWe are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiology / Mammography Technologist to join its outpatient preventive medicine team in Dallas, TX.The technologist will perform mammography, X-ray, DEXA bone density, and DEXA body composition examinations, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and a high-quality experience. This position is ideal for an experienced imaging professional who is ARRT registered and Mammography certified and enjoys working in a professional, patient-centered environment.New graduates may be considered if they possess the required Mammography certification.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic and screening mammograms, X-rays, DEXA bone density, and DEXA body composition scans.Prepare patients and examination rooms for procedures.Review patient history and relevant clinical information.Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations.Conduct monthly X-ray quality-control procedures.Monitor mammography patients requiring follow-up imaging or procedures, including biopsies, MRI, ultrasound, and other examinations.Contact outside medical facilities to obtain prior reports, images, and studies needed for comparison or completion of current examinations.Address equipment issues through appropriate service personnel and notify the Imaging Director.Required QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.Minimum 6 months of related experience and/or training.Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography - RT(R)(M).Current Texas state license.Current CPR certification.Strong knowledge of mammography, radiography, and DEXA procedures.New GraduatesNew graduates may be considered provided they have obtained the required Mammography certification and meet all applicable licensing and credentialing requirements.BenefitsMedical insurance, Dental, Vision insuranceAD&D coverageVacation/PTOSick time11 paid holidays401(k) with employer matching after one yearEmployee discountsEmployee wellness programOpportunities to earn wellness-related cash incentivesPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.Ability to frequently sit, stand, and walk throughout the campus.Ability to spend periods working at a desk and computer.Ability to remain onsite and perform imaging duties throughout the scheduled shift.
