Description: The unit features six surgical suites and one hybrid room. An average of 20 to 30 cases are handled per day. Required certifications include BLS for surgical techs. High volumes of orthopedic, vascular, and general surgeries are expected. Call may be required as part of the position. There is a charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources. Emergency department coverage is provided from 6 PM to 7 AM. Surgical techs are available to assist in scrubbing. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner.
