Category Manager – Maintenance & Services The Maintenance & Services Sourcing Manager will drive strategic sourcing of the Maintenance & Services category. This individual will be instrumental in sourcing strategy ideation and delivery encompassing data analysis, market profiling, sourcing execution, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting and relationship management, along with managing Maintenance & Services projects from a Sourcing perspective. The candidate will require blend of Maintenance & Services sourcing and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry experience. They must have deep sourcing process expertise and knowledge coupled with strong communications and ability to engage with business stakeholders throughout the sourcing process. Additionally, the ideal candidate will bring Consulting skill sets to operate most effectively in this position to help transform the Maintenance & Services sourcing program in a client environment. Job Description: Develop and execute category strategies for maintenance and services aligned with business and operational goals Manage end-to-end category lifecycle, including spend analysis, and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardization, and preferred supplier programs across sites Lead large sourcing events (RFP, RFQ, RFI) for maintenance and technical service categories Negotiate commercial terms, pricing models, service levels (SLAs), and master service agreements (MSAs) Support building sourcing pipelines for the category in the region and helping regional buyers drive sourcing projects. Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and cost avoidance initiatives with services suppliers Act as a strategic business partner to Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations, EHS, Finance, and HR Translate business requirements into sourcing solutions that balance cost, quality, safety, and service continuity Provide market intelligence and benchmarking insights to internal stakeholders Deliver and report annual cost savings, cost avoidance, and value creation metrics Leverage should-cost models, rate benchmarking, and market analytics Lead sourcing transformation initiatives and drive adoption of procurement best practices across the organization. Support sourcing initiatives within a manufacturing and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment, balancing operational, quality, and business requirements. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the job description Preferred Qualifications: Approximately 8-10 years’ experience in handling category management activities in the Maintenance & technical Services space Professional certification (CPSM, CPSD, CIPS, PMP) preferred Exposure in drafting category strategy, sourcing planning, business case creation, sourcing execution and contract closure Demonstrated experience with maintenance and services procurement in the U.S. market Experience working with national service providers and regional vendors Very good communication skills Transformation mindset with ability to identify improvement opportunities Highly organized, proactive, and goal‑oriented High integrity, attention to detail, and strong prioritization skills Note: Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa (H1B or otherwise).
