Step into a rewarding contract position as a Physical Therapist serving a vibrant school community with approximately 14,000 students. This full-time opportunity offers flexibility, allowing for either in-person or hybrid service delivery, and enables you to make a real impact across multiple school sites. The upcoming school year runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a comprehensive experience in school-based therapy.
Key Qualifications:
- Holds valid licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly valued.
- Skilled in both direct physical therapy services and consultative support models.
- Confident performing student evaluations and assessments.
- Strong communicator; comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and a diverse caseload.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services for students.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Attend IEP meetings and share progress and recommendations.
- Document interventions, outcomes, and communications in accordance with school policies.
- Serve as a resource for staff to support students’ physical access and participation.
- Collaborate with families, educational teams, and district personnel to ensure the best outcomes for every learner.
