Maintenance Manager

Job DescriptionReports directly to the Facilities Engineering and Maintenance Manager-Multisite and is responsible for leading day-to-day maintenance operations for the manufacturing facility. Oversees maintenance personnel, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance execution, and facility support activities to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. Partners closely with production and operational leadership teams to achieve operational, safety, quality, and cost objectives.PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and supervise plant maintenance personnel and daily maintenance activities to support operational uptime, production efficiency, and equipment reliability goalsCoordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performanceSupport implementation and sustainment of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure maintenance work orders are properly prioritized, assigned, completed, and documented within the CMMS systemMonitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to reduce maintenance costs and improve operational capabilityAssist in managing maintenance department budgets, maintenance inventory, and spare parts controlPartners with engineering, production, and safety teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actionsSupervise contractors and outside service providers performing maintenance or facility-related workSupport installation, startup, and optimization of new equipment, machinery, and facility systemsEnsure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and proceduresResponsible and accountable for maintenance performance metrics as identified within the operations scorecard, including downtime, PM completion, safety, and cost performance. Support reporting and corrective action planning for performance variancesSupport fabrication, repair, and modification of production fixtures, tooling, and equipment as neededESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, manufacturing technology, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of industrial maintenance systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipmentExperience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs, CMMS systems, and equipment troubleshootingExperience supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesPrevious supervisory experience leading maintenance technicians or skilled trades personnelWorking knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and maintenance KPI managementProficient with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance-related software systemsStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and/or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) systemsCertified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certificationExperience in large-scale manufacturing environmentsExperience with woodworking, automated production equipment, finishing systems, or related manufacturing processesLean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification or experienceExperience coordinating equipment installations, facility upgrades, or capital improvement projectsShiftFull or Part TimeFull timeCabinetworks Group (the “Company”) is an equal opportunity employer and we want to have the best available persons in every job.
