Work Environment\n

This full-time position operates on a remote basis, allowing you to engage with clients through virtual platforms. The standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your role includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based evaluation techniques.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting clear and achievable goals.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to address unique client needs.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress through accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) entries.
\n
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to provide holistic care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals and families dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our patient population is diverse, comprising various ages, backgrounds, and experiences, which allows for a rich and rewarding counseling practice.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Proficiency in using technology, including Google Suite and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in group therapy settings, crisis intervention, or specific therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are highly desirable. Familiarity with community mental health resources will also be an asset.
