Territory: Massachusetts & New Hampshire
Pay: $28.00–$44.00/hour
Experience: 5+ Years Preferred

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client, a leading commercial kitchen equipment service provider, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to service, repair, and install commercial cooking and food preparation equipment throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

This role focuses primarily on hot-side commercial kitchen equipment , including gas, electric, plumbing, and steam systems.

It's a strong fit for an experienced technician who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working independently in the field, and solving mechanical and electrical equipment problems .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Service, maintain, repair, and install commercial cooking and food preparation equipment .
• Diagnose equipment problems and determine the best repair solution.
• Troubleshoot gas, electric, plumbing, and steam systems .
• Use diagnostic information and hands-on testing to identify equipment failures.
• Work with the Parts Department to identify and source replacement components.
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers when additional troubleshooting support is needed.
• Clearly explain repairs and service recommendations to customers.
• Deliver professional, high-quality customer service at each location.
• Identify additional service needs and recommend appropriate solutions when applicable.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while completing field repairs.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 5+ years of commercial equipment repair or related technical experience preferred.
• Experience working with gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam systems .
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use hand tools for detailed mechanical repair work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose equipment issues independently.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams when needed.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds when needed.
• Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and elevated surfaces.
• Ability to regularly bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and reach.
• Comfortable working around mechanical equipment, heated surfaces, and changing environmental conditions.
