Details Work on the 2 West Med Surg/Cardiology unit in a 595-bed hospital setting Unit has 30 beds with a 1:6 patient ratio Care for pre and post-heart cath, med surg, and general cardiology patients (chest pain, hypertension, etc) Uses standard acute care equipment Charts in Cerner EMR Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 18:45-07:15 Every other weekend required No on-call requirements First to float, including to like units and facilities within a 25 mile radius Requirements Active RN license (AL or Compact) required, must be in hand at time of consideration Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA only accepted) 2 years of recent RN experience required Med Surg experience required, Cardiology experience preferred Acute care skills preferred Cerner EMR experience preferred Additional Information Provide nursing care for a mix of med surg and cardiology patients including pre/post-heart cath cases Navy scrub color required Must be flexible, dependable, and comfortable working with both staff and patients in a fast-paced environment Facility is recognized for excellence in stroke care, cardiovascular services, and surgical care Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-743597.
