Speech Language Pathologist

• Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques • Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient care plans • Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach • Provide personalized therapeutic and rehabilitative care to senior living community residents Requirements Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating patients with swallowing disorders and communication impairments, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
