Field Marketing Manager

AVID Energy Solutions is immediately seeking a Field Marketing Manager tojoin our team in Sutton, MA and start a career helping customers with energy efficiency and utility cost savings. This is a full-time role at AVID Energy Solutions playing a key role in customer support, customer scheduling and customer service needs with a clear path for growth. We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Field Marketing, Events & Canvassing Supervisor to build and lead our community outreach program throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This is a progression role for someone who wants to build a department, not simply inherit one.As the program grows, the role will transition into a larger leadership position. Essential Job Functions: Work 8am to 5pm dailywith additional hours as needed Canvassing and Lead Generation Engage homeowners through professional door-to-door outreach Explain AVID Energy Solutions’ services and the benefits of a no-cost Mass Save® Home Energy Assessment Schedule qualified homeowner appointments Develop targeted canvassing territories throughout AVID Energy Solutions’ service area Maintain accurate lead information and ensure timely handoff to the intake team Track doors knocked, homeowner conversations, appointments scheduled, and held-assessment rates Ensure all representatives follow approved messaging and program guidelines Events and Community Outreach Represent AVID Energy Solutions at fairs, festivals, home shows, community events, retail locations, and sponsorship activations Coordinate event registration, staffing, schedules, displays, materials, and lead capture Actively engage event attendees and schedule qualified appointments Research and recommend new events and community partnerships Build relationships with municipalities, businesses, organizations, and event coordinators Track event costs, lead volume, appointment volume, and return on investment Maintain event supplies, uniforms, equipment, signage, and promotional material Team Leadership and Performance Recruit, onboard, train, and develop part-time and full-time field representatives Establish daily and weekly performance expectations Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and accountability Build a positive, professional, and results-oriented team culture Report regularly on staffing, activity, appointments, conversion rates, and program performance Identify underperforming events, territories, or strategies and make adjustments Ability to maintain real-time communication with your manager and upper management as needed Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision Ability to manage multiple tasks Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in canvassing, field marketing, event marketing, outside sales, community outreach, or a related role Previous experience leading, training, or supervising employees, a plus A proven ability to generate leads or appointments through face-to-face outreach An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a program from the ground up Willingness to perform hands-on fieldwork during the program’s first year Strong communication, coaching, organization, and problem-solving skills Confidence approaching and speaking with homeowners and members of the public Ability to motivate a team while maintaining clear performance standards Comfortable using lead-tracking systems, mobile applications, spreadsheets, and performance reports Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory Experience in home improvement, energy efficiency, HVAC, insulation, solar, or the Mass Save® program is preferred but not required Physical Requirements Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to travel through residential neighborhoods and work outdoors Ability to lift and transport event materials weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to set up and break down tents, tables, signage, and displays Bilingual preferred but not required Consent to a CORI background check and drug test screening Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off & Paid company holidays Uncapped commissions and bonuses Continuous training and growth opportunities Referral program About AVID Energy Solutions: AVID Energy Solutions is a proud Mass Save Partner® and NHSaves® Trade Ally dedicated to helping home owners reduce their energy output and save on their monthly utility bills.
