Job Title: Hospitality Office Associate (Food Tray Delivery) Department: Food and Nutrition Services Location: Clifton Springs Hospital Address: 2 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY Hours per week: 20 Schedule: Top candidate will be available for both 6:30am to 2:30pm or 11:30am to 7:30pm shifts with alternating weekends, could also work weekday evenings and alternating weekends. Position Summary Responsible for functions of the diet office and hospitality services including organization and input of patient/resident menus to ensure accuracy of diet orders, timeliness of meal delivery and facilitation of interdepartmental coordination. Key Responsibilities Acts as a liaison between Food Services and all other departments with respect to patient meals and diets. Delivery of meals and nourishment according to established patient identification policies and procedures. Assist with all activities related to meal services. Knowledge of fluid restrictions, tube feeding, diet orders and standards for restricted diets. Ability to transfer medical record information into menu software to ensure diet, allergies and modifiers are processed accurately. Communicates patient needs and concerns with patients, families, and clinical staff. Maintain a positive representation of Food and Nutrition Services through professionalism, hygiene and uniform. Record and maintain unit refrigerator temperature logs according to facility standards. Answer and log all incoming calls to the nutrition office. Maintain the highest level of customer service as outlined by department and RRH standards. Generate reports, tallies, calorie counts, nourishment labels, tray tickets, etc. and process information within established time frames. Responsible for accurate delivery and filling of supplies to units as required. Maintain work areas in a safe and orderly manner. Responsible for attending and retaining all staff meetings and in-service training. May be responsible for daily back up of menu software. Perform other duties as assigned within the department. Desired Attributes Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation preferred.
