A Proven Sales Leader Ready to Build

We’re hiring a proven new-business salesperson with recent sales leadership experience to build TheHomeMag’s Philadelphia market from the ground up . You’ll prospect, win advertisers, and grow your own book. Your results in Philadelphia will establish the foundation for broader leadership opportunities as we grow.

For more than 24 years, TheHomeMag® has connected home improvement businesses with homeowners ready to invest in their homes. Our targeted print publications and digital marketing solutions give local advertisers practical ways to grow.

The Opportunity

Your job is to build upon the current business in Greater Philadelphia. You’ll be in the market meeting business owners, uncovering opportunities, creating marketing solutions, and closing new advertisers. You’ll also retain and grow the relationships you earn.

We’re looking for someone who has led salespeople recently, knows how to develop others, and understands that leadership here begins with producing results.

What You’ll Do

• Prospect consistently and win new advertisers throughout Greater Philadelphia
• Build and grow upon your book of business
• Learn each client’s goals and recommend effective print and digital marketing solutions
• Present proposals, navigate objections, negotiate, and close
• Retain and grow the advertisers you bring on
• Build relationships and a strong presence in the local business community
• Share what works and help strengthen the sales team as opportunities arise

What You Bring

• A demonstrated record of winning new business through your own prospecting and sales efforts
• Recent experience leading, coaching, or developing salespeople
• The drive to carry and exceed your own sales goals
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, and closing skills
• Sound judgment, follow-through, and ownership of your results
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team

Experience selling advertising, media, or marketing solutions is helpful. Your ability to open doors, win clients, and build a market matters most.
