Job Description
Title: RN - PCU

Schedule:
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 1845-0715
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirements: Work major holidays

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:
- License: RN
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience: 1 year of PCU RN experience
- Preferred Skills: High acuity drip experience, arterial line experience, BiPAP/Airvo experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Compliance / Notes:
- Nicotine-free facility
- Bi-weekly pay
- Orientation: Initial two days of facility orientation followed by clinical orientation and completion of computer training.
- The facility allows the cancellation of one shift per pay period at no cost to the facility and no pay to the traveler, with a minimum two hours' notice provided.
