- Set up individual sites.
- Register clients.
- Obtain informed consent; Complete documentation.
- Dispose of bio-hazardous waste.
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions.
- Knowledge of protocols for adverse reaction, reporting of incidents and injuries.
- Storage and transportation of necessary supplies to include vaccine.
- Knowledge and understanding of the dosage, administration, indications, precautions, contraindications and possible adverse reactions related to the vaccine being administered.
- Knowledge of intramuscular injection technique and subcutaneous injection technique.
