VA Facility Needs a Locums Anesthesiologist

Job Overview

Our organization offers a variety of locum assignments, ranging from just a single day to several years. Whether you prefer opportunities close to home or are open to traveling, we provide genuine prospects tailored to your preferences. We go beyond a typical job board by offering expert support customized to your career stage and individual needs.

Schedule and Responsibilities
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM, with optional weeknight on-call shifts.
  • Daily Caseload: Administer 50 to 60 anesthetics each day.
  • Types of Cases: A mix of general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for various procedures, including:
    • General surgery
    • Urology
    • Ophthalmology
    • Plastic surgery
  • Experience Required: Proficiency in robotic surgery is essential.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia is advantageous.
  • Assignment Length: Multiple week-long assignments available throughout the year.
  • Weekend Coverage: No weekend shifts required.
