Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• Contract Weeks: 8

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift.
• Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process that aligns with the medical plan of care and incorporates input from patients and their significant others.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care.
• Delegate certain aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on their clinical competence and legal scope of practice.
