Overview Our small-community facility is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our therapy department. Sign on Bonus: $5,000. Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients, according to the principles and practice of physical therapy. Establish PT treatment goals based on the findings of initial assessments. Administer corrective exercise, manual techniques, and therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, iontophoresis, electrical stimulation) as appropriate. Conduct objective testing for range of motion, strength, and performance of daily functional tasks. Record patient progress and produce treatment plans, progress reports, and other required documentation in the therapeutic EMR. Communicate with referring providers regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations. Provide supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants in accordance with regulatory agency guidelines. Use standardized outcome measures consistently. Teach patients, staff members, and student affiliates in exercise and mobility techniques. Participate in educational programs, workshops, and in-service meetings to enhance professional growth. Collaborate with support personnel according to legal standards and ethical guidelines. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $36.74 per hour – $63.19 per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
