We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join a fast-paced logistics and distribution operation in North Houston. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and experience handling accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, and customer account information.

Job Responsibilities

Process and maintain accounts receivable transactions

Prepare, review, and process customer invoices

Post and apply customer payments accurately

Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections

Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies

Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, and account questions

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations

Research and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner

Work closely with internal departments to resolve account issues

Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information

Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Accounting

Strong knowledge of invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred

High school diploma or GED required; accounting coursework or degree preferred

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment. Experience in the logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain industry is a plus.
