Finance Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Finance Manager in Hopewell, VA. Position Summary: The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis to support strategic business decisions. This role partners with operational and executive leadership to provide financial insights, improve processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization
Develop financial models, business cases, and profitability analyses to support strategic initiatives
Monitor budget-to-actual results and provide variance analysis and recommendations
Support month end, quarter end, and year end close activities in partnership with Accounting
Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with company policies and internal controls
Present financial results and insights to senior leadership
Assist with cash flow forecasting, capital planning, and long-range financial planning
Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes, systems, and reporting
Support audits and provide requested financial documentation
Mentor and develop financial analysts and other team members as applicable
5-8 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, managing processes independently
Cost accounting, industrial accounting experience
SAP experience
MS Excel - VLOOKUPs Pivot Tables, Formulas
