Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, Inpatient Rehab, Fairmont, West Virginia. This travel - temporary assignment starts 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks, offers a weekly pay range of $1,290-$1,379, guarantees 35 hours per week, and follows a five-day, eight-hour shift schedule (8:00 am–4:30 pm). Work setting is a skilled nursing facility with an inpatient rehabilitation focus. This role reports to Healthforce Healthcare LLC and requires a current COTA credential in the state of West Virginia.

Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to inpatients under supervision, promoting independence in daily activities.
- Assess functional status, set goals, and document progress; adapt treatment plans as patient needs evolve.
- Facilitate activities of daily living, upper-extremity tasks, and cognitive-motor activities aligned with rehab goals.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, nursing, and social services) to coordinate care and plan for discharge.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record and ensure patient safety and privacy.

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in West Virginia
- Graduation from an accredited OTA program with current certification
- Inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 8.5-hour shifts and participate in a travel assignment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
