Social Media Content Editor

This is a Part Time position in the field of Post Production - Editing, Compositing, Motion Graphics, & Visual Effects , located in San Diego, CA . My biggest priority is growing the retreat chef side of my business. I want retreat hosts, wellness professionals, and event organizers to come across my content and be able to envision Presti’s Primal Pantry as part of their experience.I’d also like to attract more private and special-event dinner bookings, as well as potentially a small number of recurring high-end clients, particularly professional athletes and other health-conscious clientele.I’m looking for someone who understands that beautiful editing is only part of the job. The content should have a purpose: showcase the experience, build the brand, grow the right audience, and ultimately generate inquiries and bookings. Responsibilities Edit food, cooking, retreat, and event footage into engaging Reels and short-form videos Edit photos and create polished Instagram and Facebook posts Help plan content that showcases my food, private dining, and retreat experiences Write captions and create simple text overlays when needed Maintain a consistent look and feel across my social media Help create content that attracts retreat hosts, private-event clients, and high-end clientele Potentially assist with posting, content scheduling, and overall social media strategy Communicate with me regularly about upcoming events, retreats, and content ideas Experience Experience editing short-form social media content Strong eye for food, hospitality, lifestyle, or wellness content Understands Instagram and Facebook and what makes content engaging Can create content that feels natural, elevated, and visually appealing Understands basic social media marketing and how content can lead to inquiries and bookings Creative and comfortable suggesting new ideas Reliable, organized, and a good communicator Bonus: Experience working with chefs, restaurants, retreats, wellness brands, or other hospitality businesses About Presti’s Primal Pantry Presti’s Primal Pantry is a San Diego-based private chef business specializing in nourishing, whole-food cuisine made with high-quality ingredients.
