About The Role The Regional Director of Operations will manage all aspects of the operations of the company’s distribution centers in the assigned region, including but not limited to personnel, process, adherence to company policy, safety, regulatory compliance, quality, staffing, strategic planning and constant improvement. The role provides insight and expertise guiding annual expense budgets and manpower requirements to DC managers. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook. Compensation & Schedule Salaried: $175k–$220k (based on experience) plus bonus eligibility. Monday–Friday (with occasional Saturdays as needed), full‑time, exempt. Remote, with frequent travel to distribution sites (approximately 50%). Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your life, health and future. What You Will Do Take an active role in managing day‑to‑day operations of managers and teams, identifying opportunities for improvement. Act as a catalyst for change while standardizing KPIs, training and leadership procedures, and performing productivity assessments. Facilitate communication of goals and changes between upper management and warehouse staff, working cross‑functionally with other internal teams. Build structure for internal programs through team management including budget, workflow, scheduling, reporting and more. Improve operational overhead through cost‑saving initiatives, inventory control and streamlining warehouse operations and administrative processes. Manage the company’s overall shipping, receiving, cycle counting and warehouse maintenance functions. Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision. Responsible for overseeing OSHA and safety compliance. Accountable for budget and P&L of the Warehouse Division. Assist DC managers to maintain effective, positive employee relations in the facility to attract and motivate highly qualified hourly and salaried employees. Assist DC managers develop and maintain a work environment that promotes employee inclusion, recognition and clear communication. Develop operating strategies to manage future growth, improve quality and reduce operating cost. Measure and analyze performance statistics to set goals, maintain or exceed standards and support continuous improvement. Identify problem areas and collaborate with DC managers and their teams to provide solutions that raise performance level. Promote open, honest communication between departments, across functions within the distribution centers and with internal customers and external stakeholders. Audit, evaluate and negotiate operational expenses to ensure accuracy, efficiency and consistency. Interface with other departments to increase efficiencies and foster teamwork. What We're Looking For Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field. 10+ years of prior warehouse experience. 7+ years of leadership and team‑management experience. Deep understanding of standard technical systems, including WMS and ERP systems. Extremely organized and detail oriented. Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency and safety. A “roll‑up your sleeves” leader with the ability to collaborate, interact and communicate at all levels of the organization. Excellent team‑building and coaching skills. Strong values and a bias for action in decision‑making. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Proven track record of being an effective leader in a fast‑paced, high‑volume organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.
