Flat File Clinical Analyst – AI Mapper Agent - Clinical Data Mapping Analyst (Healthcare / AI-Enabled) Location: Atlanta (Onshore preferred) Company: Elevance Health

Role Summary: Elevance Health is seeking a Flat File Clinical Analyst – AI Mapper Agent to support clinical data intake, file mapping, and operational processing of inbound clinical data feeds. This role requires strong clinical domain understanding to interpret source data, identify data quality issues, and ensure accurate mapping of clinical information into downstream systems. Clinical knowledge and the ability to understand healthcare workflows, provider data structures, and clinical file content are central to success in this role. Need of a clinical analyst with healthcare domain depth and strong data interpretation capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, monitor, and support intake of inbound clinical flat files from provider groups, clinical partners, and other healthcare data sources.
• Analyze clinical file layouts, field definitions, coding structures, and file-level changes to ensure accurate mapping and downstream ingestion.
• Interpret clinical content to identify anomalies, formatting changes, missing values, coding inconsistencies, and structural issues affecting processing.
• Support AI mapper activities by validating field mapping logic, business rules, and data transformations for clinical files.
• Partner with business, provider operations, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams to clarify file specifications and resolve data-related issues.
• Perform operational data analysis focused on file quality, data integrity, completeness, and exception management.
• Support pre-processing and validation activities for clinical files prior to downstream ingestion.
• Investigate processing failures, document root causes, and recommend remediation actions.
• Maintain mapping documentation, file specifications, transformation rules, and operational procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical data intake, file governance, and processing efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Clinical Operations, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of healthcare clinical data, provider workflows, and healthcare operational processes.
• Experience working with flat files, data mapping, file validation, or healthcare data integration processes.
• Ability to interpret clinical datasets, file layouts, structured data elements, and business rules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on data quality and operational issue resolution.
• Experience collaborating with business and technical stakeholders in production-oriented environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with healthcare payer, provider, or clinical data environments.
• Familiarity with clinical coding structures, provider data submissions, or healthcare file exchange standards.
• Exposure to AI-assisted mapping, file transformation workflows, or data intake automation.
• Based in or able to work from Atlanta.
