Industrial & Facilities Maintenance Tech III

Maintain, install, and repair facility and automation equipment within the Dream Fulfillment Center (DFC) with no oversight for more complex work assignments, while overseeing junior technicians in their complex work assignments.

Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance and repairs on powered industrial equipment and conveyor systems, ensuring adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Diagnose and perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment such as air compressors, heating, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Inspect work performed by others on the Maintenance team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and promptly, reprioritizing and redirecting efforts as necessary.

Communicate regularly with the Facilities Manager and Operations leaders and team members regarding the status of repair work and any impact on operations.

Ensure clear shift handoffs to facilitate smooth transitions of work to be completed by the next shift.

Lead and perform project work to support warehouse daily operations as assigned, potentially coordinating the work of others.

Coordinate repairs and maintenance with third-party vendors.

Train maintenance team members as needed.

Experience in facility and industrial maintenance.

Knowledge of preventive maintenance, PLC, VFDs, electrical systems, HVAC, and boilers.

Experience with plumbing, electrical, troubleshooting, facilities maintenance, boilers, chillers, rooftop units, conveyor systems, and HVAC.

Ability to perform installation and repair work.

EPA certification

Forklift operation skills

Experience with Siemens and CMM

Carpentry skills

Knowledge of motors, wiring, and HVAC systems

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
