Hiring Machine Operators in Oceanside!!$19/hr

The Production Operator performs incoming inspections on products, ensures packaging meets quality standards, and supports general production and packaging activities in a high delivery manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate completion of inspection reports, and the flexibility to assist with various tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of all products to verify they meet specified quality standards.
• Visually inspect all packaging for contamination, debris, damage, or other flaws.
• Complete accurate inspection reports in both hard copy and electronic formats.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions to carry out production, packaging, and inspection tasks.
• Operate production and packaging machinery as needed, following all safety and quality guidelines.
• Assist with general production and general labor tasks to support overall workflow.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate any product or packaging issues to the supervisor promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support manufacturing operations.

Essential Skills

• Previous manufacturing work experience preferred.
• Some quality control or inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to complete reports in English, both on paper and electronically.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting products and packaging.
• Capability to perform general production, packaging, and inspection tasks.
• Reliability to work a consistent schedule and support daily overtime as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine operation in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Background in general production or general labor roles.
• Comfort working in a loud, non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to cross-train in different areas of production and inspection.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing environment that is loud and not air-conditioned. You will work around typical manufacturing noises and equipment and should be comfortable with constant lifting of up to 10 pounds. The standard schedule is 2nd shift, approximately 2:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, with daily overtime available as needed but not mandatory, beyond a standard 8-hour workday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Oceanside,CA.
