Contract | Full-Time | Nights (3x12, 19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/Stepdown setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center environment
• Titrate and manage cardiac drips — this is a hard-stop requirement for this role
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4–5
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float to Telemetry or Medical/Surgical floors when the unit is overstaffed; travelers are first to float in these situations
• Complete required modules prior to start and during orientation; module time is non-billable and factored into overall hours

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU, Stepdown, or IMC nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience titrating and managing cardiac drips
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day — candidates may select one holiday off (either Thanksgiving or Christmas Day, not both)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals considered at a different rate)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a teaching hospital or high-acuity acute care environment
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center workflows and protocols
• Telemetry or Medical/Surgical float experience
