About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in St. Louis, Missouri, 63367!

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with patient ratios of 1:3-5
• Manage and care for patients presenting with acute conditions including Acute Renal Failure, Pneumonia, Acute Pancreatitis, UTI, Encephalopathy/Cirrhosis, Sickle Cell Pain Crisis, Chest Pain, COPD, Asthma Acute Exacerbation, Syncope/Collapse, Type I Diabetes, and Ketoacidosis
• Perform EKG interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (Relias EKG exam passage required)
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR (required)
• Float within service line as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling requirements

• Active RN license (MO or Compact); pending MO license submissions accepted - IL license must be in hand at time of submittal
• BCLS certification required
• ACLS certification required - must be obtained by compliance document deadline
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam prior to start
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience in an acute care or Medical Surgical setting at a Magnet or Teaching Hospital
• Familiarity with a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Opportunity to work at a large, nationally recognized Magnet and Teaching Hospital with a Level I Trauma designation
• Expected weekly hours of 36 or 48 based on signed agreement, with a structured day shift schedule
