We're growing- and we're looking for an Operations Manager who wants to grow with us.

This isn't a role where you'll simply inherit established processes and keep them running. You'll work along with ownership and play an important part in shaping our growing Henderson office, developing a strong caregiver team, creating an exceptional experience for our clients and families, and helping us build the systems and culture that will support future growth.

THE ROLE

As our Operations Manager, you'll be at the center of our day-to-day operations. You'll help ensure our clients receive dependable care, our caregivers feel supported, and our office runs smoothly. You'll also have the opportunity to help us improve how we operate as we grow. We value people who see a better way to do something and aren't afraid to bring ideas to the table.


YOUR IMPACT WILL INCLUDE:

• Leading daily operations- Help keep client services, caregiver schedules, office processes, and day-to-day priorities organized and running smoothly.

• Coordinating client care and scheduling- Coordinate new client assessments, caregiver assignments, schedules, and changes based on care needs, caregiver availability, and appropriate client-caregiver matches. Proactively address call-offs, scheduling conflicts, and urgent coverage needs to help maintain continuity of care.

• Building ans supporting our caregiver team- Lead caregiver recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation while providing ongoing guidance and operational support. Help identify new sources of qualified caregivers and participate in recruiting events and job fairs when appropriate.

• Creating an excellent client experience- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and families, respond to questions and concerns, coordinate service needs, and help ensure we consistently provide responsive, dependable care.

• Supporting and engaging our caregivers- Be a resource for caregivers regarding schedules, client needs, and day-to-day questions. Participate in caregiver check-ins, recognition programs, referral initiatives, and other efforts that help us build a strong and engaged team.

• Solving the unexpected- Home care doesn't always go according to plan. You'll help navigate schedule changes, caregiver call-offs, changing client needs, and other operational challenges with professionalism and good judgment.

• Keeping operations organized and accurate- Maintain accurate and secure client and employee information within our operating and scheduling systems and help ensure records comply with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Supporting payroll, billing, and administrative processes- Review caregiver time records and coordinate with leadership to support accurate payroll processing. Assist with client invoicing, onboarding materials, welcome packets, operational documents, and other office administrative needs.

• Measuring and improving performance- Compile and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and operational reports. Help identify trends and opportunities to improve efficiency, caregiver performance, client satisfaction, and service delivery.

• Support Business Growth- Work alongside ownership on initiatives that help grow Senior Helpers of Henderson. This may include community outreach, networking, recruiting events, relationship-building, and other activities that increase awareness of our services within the community.

• Working alongside leadership- Bring ideas to the table, help establish best practices, and take increasing ownership of operations as the business grows.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

• 2+ years of experience in operations, office management, administration, scheduling, staffing, or a related role

• Experience in home care, healthcare, senior services, staffing, or a similar service-based environment strongly preferred

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong customer-service orientation and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Proficiency with basic office software and the ability to learn scheduling and operating systems

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

• Successful completion of required background checks and pre-employment screenings

• Two professional references

Home care, healthcare, senior services, staffing, scheduling, and/or operations experience is especially valuable.


FLEXIBILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

Because we provide essential services to seniors in their homes, reliability and flexibility are important in this position.


The Operations Manager may occasionally provide after-hours or on-call operational support when needed. In unusual or urgent circumstances, this may also include helping ensure client coverage when other options have been exhausted.


While these situations are not intended to be the primary function of the position, we are looking for a leader who understands the importance of continuity of care and is willing to work alongside the team when circumstances require it.

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

• Full-Time Salaried Position

• 40 hours per week, some on-call

• Primarily day shift

• Henderson, Nevada

• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally for occasional client visits, recruiting activities, networking, or community events are required

• Occasional after-hours or on-call operational support may be necessary based on client and business needs
