The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will perform computations, and other tasks, and report to the Center Administrator.Work location: CenterWell Apoka 1049 W. Orange Blossom Trail; Apopka, FL 32712Clinical TasksThe Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as:Document patient symptoms in EMRTake and record vital signsAdminister injectionsPerform diagnostic testsCollect specimens and draw bloodSterilize equipmentMaintain examination roomsOther tasks as assignedUse Your Skills to Make an ImpactAdditional Job Description:Required:Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedPhlebotomy experienceThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
