Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant is the first contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will perform computations, and other tasks, and report to the Center Administrator.Work location: CenterWell Apoka 1049 W. Orange Blossom Trail; Apopka, FL 32712The Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as:Document patient symptoms in EMRTake and record vital signsAdminister injectionsPerform diagnostic testsCollect specimens and draw bloodSterilize equipmentMaintain examination roomsOther tasks as assignedRequired:Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from ProviderHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR CertifiedPhlebotomy experienceThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
