About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Must have level 4 NICU experience. Cardiac PICU experience preferred. License: Must have active state license. Certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP required. ACCS preferred. Must-Have: Must be competent in caring for patients in the NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics. Description: This position is for a respiratory therapist in a pediatric setting. The therapist must be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team that requires strong communication and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities include providing respiratory care to neonates, infants, and children in various units. The therapist will work with special equipment and procedures specific to pediatric care. Experience with high-risk deliveries and acute care pediatrics is essential. The role demands proficiency in various respiratory treatments and interventions. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals are required. The therapist will be expected to participate in emergency situations as necessary. Competency in using specialized ventilators is required. The environment promotes a collaborative approach to patient care.
