Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery RN supports patient care across multiple facilities in a dynamic traveler role. The position requires flexibility to float between hospitals, providing expert labor and postpartum care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring safe and timely patient care.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding promptly to any abnormalities.
Provide postpartum care to mothers and newborns, assisting with recovery and education.
Document patient information accurately using Epic electronic medical records.
Adapt to various facility protocols while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
Travel between care points as needed, maintaining compliance with all safety and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:

Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
Maintain Healthcare Provider BLS certification; AHA ACLS, NRP, and NIHSS required.
Possess at least 2 years of labor, delivery, and postpartum experience.
Demonstrate proficiency in fetal monitoring and labor management.
Be capable of traveling with personal transportation to multiple care locations.
Exhibit effective communication, adaptability, and clinical judgment skills.
