Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in the NICU. Demonstrates expertise in managing complex medical needs and supporting families during their infant's hospital stay.

Responsibilities:

• Assess neonatal patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate families on care procedures, infant development, and discharge instructions.
• Use advanced equipment such as ventilators, feeding pumps, and monitoring devices.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR systems and report changes promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current registered nurse certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, including Level 4 NICU.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical skills.
• Familiarity with Meditech and CPN EMR systems.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and adapt to changing priorities.
