About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Commercial Operations with a strong background in customer journey management, experience design, and innovation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading strategies that align customer-driven long-term thinking with near-term revenue goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the importance of collaboration in a complex and competitive industry, and the ability to lead a multi-faceted team to maximize customer lifetime value growth. The VP will be accountable for fostering a customer-centric culture, incorporating the voice of the customer, and redefining organizational metrics to reflect the entire customer journey. They will also be involved in the highest level of decision-making, talent development, and ensuring that the company is consistently aligned with customer expectations. Applicants for the Vice President, Commercial Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 12 years of executive-level sales and/or marketing leadership experience. A proven track record of at least 8 years in leading sales, marketing, or customer service teams is essential. The role demands a leader who can effectively tie together strategy and roles, supported by digital applications, tools, processes, and analytics. The VP will be responsible for defining sales effectiveness, implementing sales metrics, and driving the execution of sales effectiveness strategy and programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in identifying and translating consumer research and data into actionable strategies that drive profitable business growth, and will be adept at developing and deploying systematic actioning on customer insights to create new mutual value.
